Our GEM+ environments are based on the Montessori Method of learning coupled with the Reggio approach. This facilitates hands-on mode of forming concepts. We strongly believe that learning to form concepts is more important than the accuracy of the concepts formed.

Please keep in mind for our entry to GEM+ Environment the academic year is not of importance but your child's age is.

M0 (Age 2 - 2.5yrs) Children join M0 through the year and move to M1 at the beginning of the next academic year.
 

At present, we have two School campuses with GEM+ environments, located on Sarjapur Road Doddakannelli (Gurukul) & Somapura Gate (HUB).

At our Gurukul campus, we also have Elementary Montessori which follows the Montessori philosophy through Grades 1 and 2. Hence, Grade 1 admissions will be provided primarily to children from a Montessori background. For Grade 2, there are no admissions possible UNLESS the child is from another Elementary Montessori program. Due to this reason, we request parents to commit to continuing with GEAR for a period of 2-3 years in the best interest of the child.

The Admission Procedure follows a few standard steps :

1. Enquiry and Submission of Application:
The first step is to fill out an Enquiry Form online. This form asks for basic information about parents and and the child as well as details of previous academic records of the child. Please click here to fill the enquiry form. We request you to have the scanned copy of the birth certificate and previous academic records(if any) to be ready with you before filling the form. The files should have the following nomenclature.

Previous Year's Academic Records: NAME OF THE CHILD/GRADE

Birth Certificate:
NAME OF THE CHILD/ DD/MM/YYYY (DOB)

2. Registration for Admission:
Once the Enquiry Form is submitted, parents will hear back from the school within 5 working days about if and when registration would be possible. (Which is mainly based on the availability of seats). 

Parents are advised to bring the following at the time of registration:
Photos of the child and the parents + 1 spare set
A copy of the child’s Birth Certificate ( self attested by the parent)
The registration fee: Rs 1000/- in cash

3. Prospective Parents Meeting (PPM):
On completion of the registration procedure a Prospecting Parents Meeting (PPM) is organised. During this meeting a group of prospecting parents get a chance to interact with Founder & Chairman of GEAR Foundation, Dr. M Srinivasan. He would give a comprehensive briefing about the school and its philosophies as well as answer questions put forth. The PPM usually lasts for an hour and is held once a month on either a Saturday or Sunday.

4. Interaction with the child:
After the PPM, those parents interested in an admission are given a personal appointment with the Chairman, which would either be on the following Monday or Tuesday. The child must accompany the parents for this appointment along with some of the child’s work if it is for and admission above the entry level. The Date of Joining and campus once assigned cannot be altered after this interaction. For any change it will be treated as a fresh application.

5. Admission:
Once the interaction with the child is completed, parents are given 2-3 days to finalise their decision about the admission and to pay the school fees.
