Refund Policy

At GEAR, we strive to provide a high-quality education to all of our students and their families. This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be issued for payments made to the school. By making any payments to GEAR Foundation or GEAR Innovative Intl. School, you agree to the terms of this policy.
1. Tuition Fees
All Fees paid are generally Non-Refundable Fees: Namely, registration, application, admission and tuition fees are non-refundable.

Tuition Refunds: Tuition fees are refundable according to the following schedule*:

If you cancel your enrollment before the official date of the TC requirement, as mentioned in the school calendar. Typically, this would be the 20th of Feb or earlier. You are entitled to a full refund of tuition fees paid, minus any non-refundable fees (e.g., registration or administrative fees).

If you withdraw after the term has started, the following refund schedule applies:

By May 15th : 50% refund

After May 16th : No refund

Please note that tuition refunds are calculated based on the date of withdrawal and are subject to the school's approval.

*Not applicable to the Elementary Montessori Grades of 1 -3
2. Special Fees
All additional enrichment activities or voluntary additional programs Fees are non-refundable

Fees for special programs (e.g., extracurricular activities, sports programs, field trips, etc.) are generally non-refundable once paid, except in the case of cancellation or changes made by the school.

If you choose to withdraw from a program or activity after the payment has been made, or if you have specifically signed up. No refunds will be issued unless specifically stated.
3. Refund Process

To request a refund, you must notify the school in writing by submitting a formal withdrawal request. The withdrawal date will be the date on which the school receives the written request. Fees@gear.ac.in can be used for this communication

The school will offer a refund in the form of credit towards any future fees payable.

If no future payments are due, the refund would happen to the account as per the details provided by the parent.
4. Exceptions
In certain exceptional cases, such as medical emergencies or other unforeseen circumstances, a refund may be considered on a case-by-case basis. Documentation supporting your claim may be required, and approval for such requests will be at the discretion of the school administration.
5. Future Changes
GEAR School reserves the right to modify or update this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes to this policy will be posted on this page, and the updated date will be noted at the top of the policy. It is your responsibility to review this policy periodically to stay informed of any updates.
6. Communication
We request that all parents communicate in writing to the official email ID, fees@gear.ac.in with your child's name and GC number clearly mentioned in the subject line.
