Programs

GEAR has partnered with several organisations to help enrich the learning experience of all the GEAR cubs. These programs do not replace the regular curriculum and methods of teaching, but act as an enhancement to what is being taught.

Atal Tinkering Lab (Grade 6-12): As a part of the Government of India’s flagship initiative to create and promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship

Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), this lab is equipped with tinkering kits in fields such as science, electronics, robotics, open-source microcontroller boards, sensors, 3D printers, drones and computers.



STEAM - Science Technology Engineering Arts and Mathematics (Grade 5-11): Based on 21st Century Learning, the Lab has an all-around approach, promoting Design Thinking and Challenge-based Learning. It nurtures and delivers practical exposure and sustained excitement in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths. Our partner BiBox brings together technology, creative content and delivery mechanisms for students to put together their ideas into action. It nurtures students and gives a comprehensive, practical exposure to Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths.


Math App (Grade 3 to Grade 9): Math combines smart technology with the personalized attention with appropriate recomendations for better conceptual understanding. Mindspark is a cloud-based platform that aids in the study of mathematics by self-learning with a curriculum integrated database. It helps the Cubs improve his/her skills in Maths. It allows each student to follow a learning path that is based on their needs.


Smart Class (Grade 4-12): All classrooms are equipped with Smart boards, so these Smart classes have access to a large and extensive database of digital content. The teachers have access to an exhaustive repository of digital modules which they can integrate into their lesson plans when needed, while at the same time they also have the option of using the traditional chalkboard. Ideal for flipped classrooms as well as collaborating with anyone across the world.


SAPA Music Academy (M2 - Grade 9): The Subramaniam Academy of Performing Arts (SAPA) has developed a special syllabus to teach Indian classical music as part of the curriculum in schools from Montessori (age 3) to Standard X. Indian classical music is one of the oldest and most systematic styles of music and can be used as a base for learning and understanding almost every style of music around the world. The Syllabus also provides a Global Music component that exposes children to different styles of music from around the world including Western Classical music, African music, Flamenco and Jazz.
